Congress Bamboozled By Republican Majority

on The White House:

In the wake of the midterm elections, the Republicans have taken over the House of Representatives and the Senate. With their newfound power to control legislation, Republicans have been determining which issues to advocate and promote.

Congress is busy with much legislation written and ready to be voted on. In the hours leading up to the voting on the bills, both the RNC and the White House are giving speeches to congressmen and capitalizing on any momentum they have.
The White House is deeply disturbed by their loss of power, yet are trying their best to get their word out. The Director of Communications for the White House recognized that his proposed ideals must be more Republican friendly. In his attempts to be bipartisan, he has loosened his grip on some issues and is eager to compromise to allow Democrats to see some of their ideas get carried out.

The Republicans are taking advantage of their newfound majority. The issues they find most pressing are children’s health care, the death penalty, loan regulations, and the recent food crisis. Members of the RNC have visited many committees to convey their conservative ideals, leaving many Democratic congressmen bamboozled.
