on Greenpeace:
Unexpectedly, Greenpeace International, a lobbyist group typically associated with the Democratic Party, was recently accused of being a terrorist group.
Members of the House committee on overfishing made the accusations. Ironically enough, a member of the Democratic Party made the allegation. Greenpeace denies these accusations, calling them outraegeous, and contends that the committee chair was biased.
Greenpeace also shared with the press their current plans for bills on issues such as overfishing, chemical usage in crops, energy innovation, and waste disposal. Without health, they maintain, “you have nothing.” They believe that America needs to protect the environment to safeguard economic interests.
Greenpeace is aligned with environmental groups such as the Sierra Club and works mostly as an informant to ensure that the citizens of the world are aware of environmental issues so that they are better able to protect nature.
Though they are mostly aligned with the Democratic Party, they oppose the Democratic platform of the uses of nuclear energy and aquaculture, as Greenpeace’s main goal is to protect wildlife.
With regards to the volcano in Indonesia, Greenpeace is working to help minimize the environmental impact of the volcano and the ash that is polluting the air, as well as advocate for research of preventative measures of volcanoes and other natural disasters.
Whether Greenpeace is a terror group bamboozling citizens or innocent supporters of the environment, it is clear that they will not rest until their efforts are fulfilled.
