Who Is Going To Repair The Economic Stimulus?

on Appropriations:

The future of the current economic status does not have as bright of outlook as previously predicted.

The economy in its current state today has left many in America struggling to make ends meet. Congressional acts made have tried to help the American public to get back on its feet.

One of the primary Congressional acts passed is the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act. This allowed the Treasury to purchase assets from financial institutions and cost roughly around $700 million.

The second of the primary bills to assist the economic situation is the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This legislation gave funding to many different and unrelated programs in an effort to stimulate aggregate demand and save jobs. The Democratic Party was a major proponent of this bill.

With a high urgency placed on the economic stimulus of the United States, the future portends of more bailouts, if current trends continue. This government assistance seeks to give the economy the extra boost needed.

The Democratic Party is currently striving to create jobs and to allow people to stay in their homes. They are also seeking to restore stability to financial markets by supplying and providing stimulus funding directly to businesses and individuals.

On the other hand, Republicans are heading and hoping in another direction with future debates. They wish to emphasize free trade by reducing trade deficits, implementing tax deficits of companies who create jobs domestically, and encouraging small businesses with tax cuts in order to create jobs.

The future of the economic stimulus is heading down a path of destruction unless a new direction is taken.
